Bunny Bakery — Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 28, 2026 (Bunny Bakery 3.0.1)
Bunny Bakery ("the app") is an idle bakery game published by Chinese Powered ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and by whom. The short version: we run no game servers and hold no account data. Data is collected only by the advertising, purchase and analytics services described below, and the analytics can be turned off in the app.
Data stored on your device only
Everything the app remembers — your bakeries, coins, gems and stars, your bunny crew, goals, achievements, daily rewards and settings — is saved in the app's local storage on your device. The save itself is never uploaded, and we never receive it (the anonymous usage events described below carry a few facts about your game, such as which bakery you're in, unless you turn them off). Deleting the app deletes this data. (It may be included in your phone's own device backups, which follow your Apple or Google backup settings.) If you played an earlier version of Bunny Bakery, the new version reads that older save on your device once, to turn it into a welcome gift; it never leaves your device.
If you choose "Save to a file" (Settings → Move your bakery), the app writes your progress into a file and hands it to your phone's share sheet: it goes only where you send it (for example your Files app or an email to yourself), and we never receive it. "Share my bakery" does the same with a picture of your shop. The app has no accounts, no sign-in and no chat.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob: rewarded videos you choose to watch (for a Sweet Rush, doubled rewards, free baskets, gems or festival tokens) and, occasionally, a brief interstitial after you return from a long break or move to a new bakery — never on the day you install, never more than three a day, and never for Carrot Club members. When an ad is requested, Google's SDK may collect device information such as advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from it, and ad-interaction data, used for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention.
- Consent: where required (for example in the EEA and the UK), Google's consent form is shown before any ad is requested, and no ad is requested until it has been answered. Your choices there decide whether ads may be personalized.
- On iOS, after the short tutorial (or when you first ask for a rewarded video, if that comes sooner) the app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission. Ads use your device's advertising identifier only if you allow it, and you can change your mind any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Where the consent form applies, the app's Settings screen has an "Ad privacy choices" row that reopens it.
- Details: Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data in AdMob.
Purchases (App Store / Google Play + RevenueCat)
Payment for the Carrot Club, gem packs, the Starter Pack and the Festival Pass is processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play — we never see your payment details. To validate purchases and keep them working (including "Restore purchases" on a new device), the app uses RevenueCat as a service provider. RevenueCat receives purchase receipts and a random per-install identifier — not your name, email or payment information — and processes them on our behalf. So that we can see ad and purchase revenue in one place, RevenueCat also receives a record of each ad shown (its format, placement and the revenue Google reports for it), linked to the same random identifier. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules local, on-device reminders: when your pantry is full, when a free treat basket is ready, when a seasonal festival begins (and on its last day, only if its festival bunny is within reach), and a single note if you have been away for a few days. At most one a day, never at night. Notifications can be turned off any time in the app's Settings, and no push-notification server is involved.
Game settings
When it starts, and at most every few hours while it runs, the app reads a small settings file from our website (bunny.chinesepowered.com/flags.json) to pick up game settings such as how many optional videos a day are offered or when a festival runs. The request contains nothing about you or your game; like any web request, our website host sees the IP address it comes from. The app itself is only ever updated through the App Store or Google Play.
Anonymous usage data and error reports
To find bugs and see where the game could be better, the app sends anonymous game events to PostHog, our analytics service provider: for example that the tutorial was finished, a bakery was opened, a video reward was watched, a purchase went through or failed, or that an error happened (with its technical details). Each event carries a random identifier created for this install, the game's own state (which bakery, how many bunnies) and basic device facts (app version, OS version, device model, language).
- We never send your name, email, contacts, advertising identifier or purchase receipts, and we never link these events to a person or an account.
- PostHog uses the request's IP address only to work out a country, then discards it.
- The data is used only by us, to improve Bunny Bakery. It is not sold, not shared for advertising, and not used to track you across other apps or websites.
- You can turn it off at any time: Settings › "Share anonymous usage data". See PostHog's privacy policy.
Children
Bunny Bakery is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your choices
- Ad personalization: your device's advertising-ID settings, plus the consent form where it applies (iOS: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking).
- Notifications: turn them off in the app's Settings screen, or in your device settings.
- Usage data: turn off "Share anonymous usage data" in the app's Settings screen.
- Subscription: manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- All local data: delete the app. ("Reset progress" in the app's Settings screen starts the game over, but keeps your settings and the record of what you've bought, so no purchase is lost; an earlier version's save stays on the device too.)
Changes
If a future version changes any of the above, this policy will be updated before that version ships, with the date above revised.
