The math behind the third column: a 2x boost for 300 seconds adds one extra copy of your production for 300 seconds, which is 5 minutes’ worth. A 3x boost for 90 seconds adds two extra copies for 90 seconds, which is 3 minutes’ worth. The coin gift pays 5 minutes of production in one lump.
Which free boost is best? #
2x coins for 5 minutes: best while you’re playing #
On production alone, the 2x boost ties with the coin gift. It pulls ahead because it also doubles your taps and anything else you earn in those five minutes. The biggest extra is the golden bunny. Golden bunnies show up every 3 to 6 minutes and pay three minutes of your current production. During a 2x boost that becomes six minutes. Surprise coin gift: best when you’re about to leave #
The gift pays five minutes of production instantly, so it’s ideal right before you close the game or when you’re a little short of an upgrade you want. It also doesn’t interfere with a boost that’s already running.
3x coins for 90 seconds: good if a golden bunny is due #
The 3x boost is worth less in total, three minutes of production against five. It’s worth picking when you’re about to tap hard or when a golden bunny has been gone for several minutes and another is likely soon. A golden bunny caught at 3x pays nine minutes of production.
Auto-tap for 60 seconds: best right after a prestige #
The auto-tapper gives you 600 taps without touching the screen. Early in a run, taps are a big part of your income. Right after a prestige, with Stronger Paws and Rolling Pin bought, 600 taps can easily be worth more than five minutes of your tiny production. Later, when your stations make millions a second, 600 taps are a rounding error. Pick something else.
Can you stack boosts? #
No. Only one timed boost runs at a time, and choosing a new one replaces the one that’s active. If you pick 3x while a 2x boost has four minutes left, you lose those four minutes. The strip at the top of the home screen shows the active boost and its countdown, so check it before opening the menu again. The coin gift is the exception: it’s paid instantly and doesn’t touch a running boost.
Boosts also run on the clock. A 5-minute boost ends 5 minutes after it starts even if you’ve stopped looking, so start one when you plan to stay in the game.

Doubling offline earnings #
When you return after time away, the offline screen shows what your bakery earned at half speed, up to 8 hours. The “Watch ad, Collect 2x” button doubles it. What if the ad doesn’t load? #
The boosts need an internet connection, because the ad has to load. With no signal, the game itself works normally, but the boosts won’t be available.
For the Free Boost menu, you only get the reward if the ad plays through. On the offline and daily bonus screens, the game is more forgiving: if the ad fails, you still collect the normal amount.
Are the boosts worth it at all? #
