In Bunny Bakery, the station upgrades are the best purchases in the game, and the ones at 25 and 50 owned are the best of all. Buy Stronger Paws (100 coins) first for your taps. After that, put stations on track to hit the 5, 25 and 50 thresholds and buy each upgrade the moment it appears. Global upgrades like Warm Ovens come next. Tap upgrades past the second one matter much less than they look.
How upgrades work in Bunny Bakery #
There are 59 upgrades, and each one is a single purchase you keep until your next prestige.

The Upgrades tab lists what you can buy right now at the top, then shows a few locked upgrades further down with a note like “own 3/5 Bread Stands” so you can see what’s coming. The tab’s label also shows how many upgrades you can currently afford.
Station upgrades: the best value in the game #
Every station has five upgrades. They appear at 5, 25, 50, 100 and 200 owned, and each one doubles that station’s output:

So Smart Bread Stand costs 150 coins, Smart Cookie Counter costs 1,000 and Smart Cupcake Cart costs 11,000.
Why they beat buying more stations #
Every station you buy costs 15% more than the last one of that type, so prices climb fast. The 26th Cookie Counter costs about 33 times as much as the first. Compare that with the Speedy upgrade you get at 25:
- Buying a 26th Cookie Counter costs about 3,300 coins and adds 2 coins a second (with Smart already bought). That’s roughly 1,650 coins for each coin per second you add.
- Buying Speedy Cookie Counter costs 10,000 coins and doubles all 25 of them, adding 50 coins a second. That’s 200 coins for each coin per second.
The Speedy upgrade is about eight times better value. At 50 owned the gap gets even wider, because the 51st station costs over 1,000 times the first one while the Master upgrade costs only 500 times. The takeaway: whenever a station upgrade shows up, it’s almost always your best purchase.
The one exception #
Legendary and Mythic, at 100 and 200 owned, take enormous numbers of stations to reach. Getting to 100 Bread Stands costs about 117 million coins in total, which is fine in a mid-to-late run. Getting to 100 Donut Displays would cost around 11 trillion. In practice you’ll reach 100 only with the first few station types, and 200 only with the very cheapest ones.
Global upgrades: good, but check the payback #
The four global upgrades multiply every station at once:

They stack by multiplying, so all four together give about 4.7 times your station output. That’s a big boost, but a +25% upgrade adds a quarter of your current income, while a station upgrade can double a whole station. Early in a run, a nearby Speedy upgrade often beats Warm Ovens.

A tap starts at 1 coin, and all five upgrades together make it 600 before your star and achievement bonuses. Stronger Paws is the best first purchase in the game, because at the start your taps are most of your income. Rolling Pin is worth it early too.
After that, tap upgrades lose ground fast, because your stations grow much faster than your thumb. The shop still shows a gain figure on each tap upgrade, but for these the number means extra coins per tap. It only turns into income while you’re actually tapping. The one time taps matter late in a run is during the auto-tap boost, which taps 10 times a second for 60 seconds.
The payback rule for any upgrade #
When you’re not sure, use this:
- Look at the price of the upgrade.
- Look at the “+X/s” figure on its card: the coins per second it would add right now.
- Divide the price by that number. The result is how many seconds it takes to pay for itself.
- Buy whichever option has the smallest number.
For stations, do the same with the station’s price and the output it adds. You’ll find that a nearby station upgrade wins nearly every time, which is why it’s worth pushing a station to the next threshold before buying a new station type.

Upgrades and achievements #
Buying upgrades also earns achievements: Improver at 3 upgrades, Tinkerer at 15 and Master Baker at 40. There are also achievements for owning 25 and 100 of each station, and every achievement adds a permanent 1% to production. What happens to upgrades when you prestige? #
They reset. A prestige clears every station and every upgrade, including the tap and global ones, in exchange for Sparkle Stars. Achievements stay, so their bonus keeps working.
